I have been knitting, mainly socks, which I discovered are addictive. I have also made a couple of cardigans for Little Cherub since I last posted.

Welcome to my stitching blog, where I am planning to post about knitting, crochet and cross-stitch as the mood takes me. My mother taught me to knit and crochet as a child, so I can't remember a time when I couldn't knit. After fifteen years of doing lots of cross stitch but very little knitting I took up knitting and crochet again in 2008.

I've gotten back to sock knitting as well. I've got one sock going on 4 db pt needles that is supposed to be a pair for my #3 dd who is going back to college in a few weeks. But it has turned out absolutely huge for some reason, so I'm trying to decide if I should rip it out to the heel and re-knit or not.
Meanwhile, while I'm deciding what to do with the sock, I'm trying once again to take Mary G's advice on knitting two at once on two circular needles. And I figured out how to cast on all by myself! (The first and only time I did this, Mary G cast on for me.)
Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the images on this blog loading?
I'm trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it's the blog.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
