These pattern books by Lucinda Guy come highly recommended by Mary of By Hand, With Heart.
There are copies of both in our library system, so I need to decide ... do I order them now, or do I wait until I have finished some of the projects I already have planned?

My sister has and loves the "And so to bed" book. She knitting up an owl in there that is the cutest thing she's ever done. I peeked at it in the bookstore the other day and if not for the fact that the patterns stop at age 4, I would have purchased it.

Welcome
Welcome to my stitching blog, where I am planning to post about knitting, crochet and cross-stitch as the mood takes me. My mother taught me to knit and crochet as a child, so I can't remember a time when I couldn't knit. After fifteen years of doing lots of cross stitch but very little knitting I took up knitting and crochet again in 2008.
